Benefits for parents/carers

Baby massage develops parents/carers skills in listening to their baby's needs and wants. It gives them the opportunity to have some one-to-one time with their baby, therefore promoting bonding and relaxation.

Research has shown that attending a baby massage course can help to reduce the symptoms of Postnatal Depression.

It is recommended that both parents are involved (if possible) in the baby massage process, as both parents will see the benefit of this skill.

Benefits for siblings

Baby massage is also a great way to help a child bond with their new baby brother/sister.

Baby massage is for the whole family.
